Infodemia arises from a reflection on the information overload of the digital age, a phenomenon that has reduced our attention span and generated mental fatigue, affecting memory and creativity.
Through this project, I propose a visual metaphor that equates the consumption of information on social media, particularly on Instagram, with the act of eating.
Each plate - hand-painted with cobalt blue pigment evoking the light of screens - symbolises one hour of the day, representing the excess of visual consumption that characterises our everyday relationship with the digital world.
